Steamy Summer Update 2010
Hello again to all members of the Drs. R. Phelan, P.A. dental family! As with all families, there’s always something new and we like to keep everyone up to date.
In the realm of continuing education, a few team members attended a green dentistry course hosted by Cornerstone Periodontics and Implants, right here in Concord. They learned about a number of new products and a few new tricks to try and make the medical/dental profession a little less wasteful. Along those lines, Mary and Tammy attended a course put on by our dental software company in the hopes of moving the office further along the paperless continuum.
The doctors are keeping up as well. They recently attended a course sponsored by the New Hampshire Dental Society on odontogenic pathology. How’s that for a mouthful?
For those of you who have been paying close attention, you’ve been expecting news of another baby. Kim’s daughter, Reagan Evangeline, was born on June 14th. Both mom and baby are doing well although her son is not too impressed that he ended up with yet another sister. Mary is in the final stages of wedding planning. The big day is July 31st. She has promised to have some photos when the office gets back from vacation.
Speaking of, please remember that the office will be closed July 23rd through August 8th. As usual, Dr. Phelan has asked some of his respected colleagues to cover for us while we’re away. The answering service will direct you should you have a dental emergency.
We hope everyone is staying cool. The clinical team likes the office well air conditioned so at least that gives you one reason to look forward to coming to the dentist!
