Holiday Season 2011

Hello again to all members of the Drs. R. Phelan, P.A. dental family! As with all families, there’s always something new. We try to keep everyone up to date.

In the realm of continuing education, both Drs. Ray and Ralph attended a dental implant course hosted by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. The title is quite a mouthful but they came back with a lot of new knowledge. At least part of the team will be heading down to Boston for the annual Yankee Dental Congress at the end of January, so more on that in our next update.

On the personal front, Amy has a new member of her family. She adopted an adorable gray kitten named Eva. She’s also very proud to have achieved an "A" in her microbiology class! Jenna is awaiting a new nephew in the spring. Mary is hoping her niece will grow out of her fear-of-"strangers" phase.

Those of you with excellent observation skills will have noticed our new office sign. Certainly, many of you noticed when it was missing - a casualty of Hurricane Irene. It has now been refurbished so that our office can once again be located with ease.

Patients who visited us in December had the opportunity to enter into a raffle for a new Sonicare toothbrush. Congratulations to Bill D. for being our first winner! Thank you to all those who participated. We really appreciate your dedication to oral health. We’ll be having another raffle in the spring so keep an eye out for a slotted box in the waiting room. You could be the lucky one.
